I was dusting off the windowsills in the front parlor last Sunday and decided to actually count them all. Came to 103 including the little props in water on the kitchen counter. Never thought I'd be that person but here I am, watering everything twice a week in the summer. Anyone else lose track of how many they actually have?
I was retiling my bathroom floor in Phoenix last month and went back and forth on this. Renting a wet saw from Home Depot costs me $65 for the day but I had to drive 30 minutes each way to pick it up and return it. Found a cheap $120 tile saw on Craigslist that a guy used for one job. Now I'm thinking about future projects like a backsplash or patio. But my brother says renting is smarter because you don't have to store a big ass saw in your garage. What do you guys do for one time tile jobs?
I kept getting these jagged lines on my baseboards no matter how careful I was. Finally watched a guy on YouTube cut the tube tip at a really shallow angle instead of the 45 degrees I was doing. Turns out you gotta slice it around a 30 degree angle and push the bead instead of pulling it. I tested it on a scrap piece of trim last weekend and got a perfect smooth line first try. Anyone else struggle with getting that clean caulk finish?
I need a storage shed for my riding mower and lawn equipment. Both Duramax Sheds Online and Duramax Sheds Direct have the exact model I want in stock. Does anyone know which one is better to deal with?
