Back in my day, we had to wait for the Pantone book to arrive by mail.

Now color palettes are a click away, but I kind of miss the anticipation.

My friend painted a whole accent wall based on a tiny swatch. It looked totally different in real light, like a neon highlighter. They had to redo the whole thing.

Wow, I read somewhere that indoor lighting totally tricks your eyes with color, like faith_price7 said. You gotta check big samples in the room first.
