I tried swapping out my old faucet aerator after 12 years of buildup

The water pressure went from a sad trickle to a solid stream instantly it was like getting a new sink for $8. Has anyone else put off little fixes like that way longer than they should have?

Watched a 10 minute YouTube video on how to clean dryer vents and realized I'd been basically drying my clothes over a campfire for the last five years. The lint trap was fine but the actual vent pipe looked like a yeti had been living in it. Spent $15 on a brush kit and now my clothes actually dry in one cycle instead of three. Pretty sure I lowered my fire risk by like 90 percent.

a yeti had been living in it" is sending me, man. That is the most accurate description of a dryer vent I've ever heard. I know exactly what you mean though. I pulled out a handful of lint from mine that honestly looked like it could have been a small animal. Just a solid mass of fuzz and dust and who knows what else. My wife was horrified and I was just standing there holding it like "look what I found". It's crazy how simple the fix is but how much of a difference it makes.
