Hit 10,000 screws in my garage build and it hit me funny

I was counting screws for the drywall on my 24x24 garage and hit 10,000 used. Made me wonder how many of those are holding up my workbench compared to the walls. Has anyone else kept a running count on a big project?

Did you count the screws holding up the roof trusses too or just the drywall ones?

Used to be I just grabbed a handful of screws and went to town, never really thought about the totals. But reading this post got me thinking, and now I kinda wish I'd kept a tally on my own shed build just to see where all the weight was going. Your workbench screws are probably holding the most direct weight, but the ones in the walls are what keep it all from falling over in a stiff wind. It really changes how you look at a project when you break down the numbers like that.
