Was totally against headset microphones until a customer screamed at me for not hearing them
I used to think headsets looked ridiculous and refused to wear one at my call center job in Dallas. But after 6 months of holding a phone to my ear, a customer started screaming because i asked them to repeat themselves 3 times. My manager handed me a basic Logitech headset and said just try it for one shift. After that first day i never went back. My neck stopped hurting and i could actually hear people clearly. Has anyone else had that moment where you finally admit you were wrong about some piece of gear?
