The customer who insisted I was lying about a sale price
Had a lady at the register last Tuesday argue with me for 10 minutes that a jacket was 40% off, not 20%. I showed her the tag and even called my manager over, who confirmed the 20%. She bought it anyway and then left a 1 star review saying I was 'rude and unhelpful'. Has anyone else had a customer double down on a wrong price even after you proved it?

And it's like suddenly everyone’s a math expert until you show them the actual numbers, then they get mad at you.

Started doing that myself a few years ago when a customer tried to argue about my quote. Pulled out my phone, showed them the cost breakdown right there with the parts and labor numbers. They went quiet real fast and just paid the invoice without another word. Works every time when someone starts getting all loud about how things should be priced.
