I scoffed when a customer told me to sugar my iced coffee instead of using syrup
Worked at a coffee stand in Portland for a year and always thought sugar was just for hot drinks. One regular kept asking for sugar in her iced latte and I rolled my eyes every time (behind the counter, you know). Finally tried it myself with 2 teaspoons of raw sugar dissolved in a splash of hot water before adding ice. That stuff actually blends way better than syrup and doesn't leave that weird slick feeling on your tongue. Has anyone else found random customer tips that turned out to be legit?

My buddy kept asking for half-sweet at his coffee shop and turns out they just mix regular and sugar-free, works perfect.

Eight pumps of regular and eight sugar-free is not the same thing though...
