Had a customer threaten to call corporate over a 50 cent coupon glitch
I work at a grocery store in Tampa and this lady bought $12 worth of stuff, her coupon for deli meat wouldn't scan, and she screamed at me for 10 minutes about calling the district manager. My manager came over and manually gave her the discount plus a free $5 gift card to shut her up. Has anyone else had someone go ballistic over a tiny amount of money?

I read somewhere that 80% of customer freakouts happen over less than five bucks, wild.
