My Animal Crossing island hit 5 stars while I was sick with the flu and I almost cried
Last Tuesday I was laid up on the couch with a 101 fever and nothing to do but play New Horizons for like 6 hours straight. I'd been stuck at 4 stars for weeks because Isabelle kept complaining about my random DIY tables sitting everywhere. In my fever brain haze I just started planting tulips around every house and picking up all my junk, and boom, the 5 star announcement popped up at 2am. I literally yelled loud enough that my roommate knocked on my door to check on me. Anyone else get weirdly emotional about this game when you're already feeling rough?

Ha, I had a similar fever moment years back but with Stardew Valley instead, and I married Abigail at 3am while hallucinating that my blanket was a cat. Something about being sick just knocks down all my emotional walls, man.
