I put 40 hours into a farming sim in one week and my tomatoes died in real life
My Stardew save hit year 3 and I was so busy chasing that stupid golden clock that I forgot to water the actual plants on my porch. Came out Sunday to six dead tomato plants in pots I bought at the hardware store in March, $34 gone. Anyone else lose track of real life stuff while grinding a cozy game, or am I just bad at both farms?
Used to roll my eyes at people saying games mess with your real life, figured it was just self control. Then I started waking up early to check crops before work and ignoring my actual yard for weeks, and yeah, the line gets blurry fast. Cozy games are sneaky like that because they feel harmless right up until your porch looks like a sad little graveyard.
