DAE think time limits in cozy games make them less relaxing?
Last week I got back into Graveyard Keeper after bouncing off it two years ago, and I quit again because the NPC schedules and day timers kept pushing me to rush. I play these games to unwind after chasing tenants all day about late rent, not to feel like I'm missing something if I fish too long. Does anyone else skip cozy games with heavy time pressure, or am I the odd one out here?
Graveyard Keeper got me the same way. What helped was looking up whether a game runs on real time or paused time before buying. Stardew only moves when you do, so you can stand there all day and nothing happens. Games like that are the ones I stick with now, and I just skip the ones with ticking clocks.
