Why does nobody talk about the echo in the Denver airport tunnels
I was passing through DIA last month on a layover and walked the moving walkway tunnel between concourses. The clapping and whistling people do is loud, but what caught me was how the sound bounces back twice as strong near those color change light panels. I timed it, the delay is almost exactly one second. People say it's just concrete and fans, but the tunnel is completely straight and smooth, so why is the echo only noticeable in certain spots? Has anyone else mapped out where the dead zones are in those tunnels?
