Why does nobody talk about the choice between debunking the moon landing or flat earth first with new people?

I picked starting with the moon landing because the sheer volume of physical evidence, like the 842 pounds of rocks, makes it a quicker win to show how conspiracies fall apart under basic scrutiny, and it worked to get my cousin to at least question his other beliefs after about an hour of talking.
