Wasted $45 on a so-called 'vortex' water filter that was just a plastic tube with rocks inside
Bought it from a guy at a weekend market who claimed it would 'align my water molecules' and after three days of drinking what tasted like muddy puddle water I realized I got scammed, has anyone else fallen for one of those pseudoscience gadgets?

Man that sucks, sorry you got burned like that. Those market guys can be real smooth talkers when they want to move their junk. At least it only cost you forty five bucks and not a trip to the hospital or something.

Those market guys can be real smooth talkers" is dead on, @ray648. It's the same pattern everywhere you look, not just at flea markets. People get burned buying used cars, signing up for subscriptions, or even picking a contractor because someone knows exactly what to say to get you to trust them quick.
