Rant: My barber won't drop the flat earth stuff during cuts...
He goes on and on about it every time... I just nod along but it's getting old. Makes me want to find a new barber.

You ever wonder if your guy has other weird theories he's saving for later? My old mechanic would not shut up about pyramid power, like how he had a tiny one under his driver's seat for better gas mileage. I'd just be there for an oil change and he'd go on about energy vortexes. Eventually I started going to the place across town just for the quiet.

Did he ever try to sell you on the pyramid, or was it just free advice? Wonder if he had a whole side hustle planned.

Maybe you're missing out on a unique experience. A passionate barber is way better than a silent one staring at the wall. Those weird talks give the place character, and you get a story to tell later. My old barber believed in magnetic therapy and it was the best part of my month. Finding someone who just cuts hair without any personality sounds pretty boring to me.
