Just realized I spent 2 years debunking flat earth videos before noticing I never questioned the debunkers themselves
It hit me when a NOAA climate data guy showed me how their satellite temperature records have a 0.3 degree Celsius margin of error that gets smoothed over - made me wonder how many other 'settled' claims I've been swallowing whole, has anyone else caught themselves trusting the other side too blindly?

Heard a science communicator put it this way once - we're all relying on someone's expertise no matter what, the only question is whose. Really stuck with me because nobody has time to personally verify everything from vaccine studies to bridge engineering.
