I used to think chemtrails were real until I talked to a pilot in Phoenix

I was convinced for years that those streaks in the sky were some kind of mind control spray. Then last month I was at a bar near Sky Harbor Airport and this Delta pilot sat next to me. I asked him about it and he just laughed. He explained how contrails form from engine exhaust and water vapor at high altitude. He even showed me a weather chart on his phone that predicted where contrails would form based on temp and humidity. That plus him saying he'd lose his license if he sprayed anything dangerous... I dunno, it clicked. Has anyone else changed their mind on a conspiracy after talking to someone who actually works in that field?

Talking to someone in the biz is the fastest way to kill a conspiracy theory, just ask my cousin who works for the EPA.

Nah, plenty of people in the biz believe their own company's conspiracies too.
