Dropped $80 on a "quantum healing" bracelet that did squat
My buddy Carl got me into this whole conspiracy rabbit hole about frequencies and healing crystals, so I bought a fancy copper bracelet from a guy in Sedona that was supposed to "realign my energy." Wore it for 3 weeks straight while doing landscaping and my back pain was actually worse, not better. The thing tarnished green in a month too. Anyone else get suckered into buying something that's basically just a pretty paperweight with a fake story?

Oh man, "realign my energy" - I fell for that exact same line of garbage about two years back. Bought myself a "harmonizing" copper wristband from some online store, cost me sixty bucks, and wore it to my construction job for a month thinking my chronic shoulder knots would vanish. They didn't, and the thing left green marks on my wrist like I was a cheap statue. Here's the thing I finally figured out - those sellers are banking on the placebo effect and your hope, not actual science. If you want real back pain relief from landscaping, get a good lumbar support belt from a hardware store, not a magic trinket. Save your money and buy some quality ibuprofen instead.

Lol @holly63, that copper wristband story is way too familiar. I dropped $40 on a "quantum energy pendant" once and wore it for a whole week before realizing it was just a painted rock on a string. My shoulders still ached and I looked ridiculous. Seriously though, if anyone here is thinking about buying one of those energy bracelets, just go buy a new pair of work gloves instead. Way more useful and no green stains.
