Cracked the chemtrail code after a convo with a pilot at a dive bar in Phoenix

I used to buy the whole idea that chemtrails were some govt mind control scheme based on what I saw on YouTube. Then last month I talked to this Southwest pilot who explained the persistent trails are just high altitude ice crystals from engine exhaust at -60F. Has anyone else had their conspiracy beliefs flipped by talking to someone who actually works in the field they're debunking?

@nancy_green I hear you but talking to that pilot changed my mind COMPLETELY. Those guys fly through that stuff every day and they're NOT seeing anything weird - just water vapor freezing up at 40,000 feet. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the real one.

And that pilot was probably just reading from a script they give them, right? I mean, it makes sense when you break it down but it's still hard to shake that feeling something's being hidden from us...
