A comment on my flat earth video made me check my sources
Posted a video about the ice wall theory last month. Someone named Mark from Boise pointed out I used a map from a 2012 blog post as a main source. He linked three actual survey maps from the USGS site. Changed how I research now, I always look for primary documents first. Anyone else get called out on bad sources and fix their process?

Been there, getting fact-checked online really makes you step up your game.

I saw a study last year where 40% of people said they stopped posting opinions online after being corrected. It can shut down conversation instead of improving it. The fear of a public call-out just makes people more careful about what they say, not necessarily more right.

Used to think fact-checking was just hating but that Mark guy actually made me better at this.
