Update: I got 14 burgers from a Wendy's dollar menu hack and ended up with a freezer full of sad patties
So last Tuesday I was at the Wendy's on 5th in Austin and the cashier mentioned I could get 4 for $4 deals stacked if I ordered them separately through the app. I got 14 junior bacon cheeseburgers for $14 total, which felt like a huge win at the time. But I didn't eat them fast enough and by Friday the buns were soggy and the patties tasted like cardboard after reheating in the microwave. I learned that buying in bulk only works if you can actually eat it all within a couple days, and freezing fast food burgers just doesn't work like I hoped. Now I stick to buying 2 or 3 max at once, even if the deal looks amazing. Has anyone figured out a way to make leftover fast food burgers edible the next day, or am I just doomed to eat them cold?
