We were talking about grocery budgets on break and she dropped that number. I spend like $8 a day on fast food just for myself. She said it's all about buying the big bags of frozen chicken patties and making her own snack packs with store brand crackers and cheese cubes. Plus she saves the bread ends to make her own croutons. That hit different because I never thought about the small stuff adding up.
