The day I stopped being a fast food snob was a Tuesday in March

I used to turn my nose up at Arby's because I thought it was all processed junk. Then I was stuck on a road trip near Bakersfield with $8 to my name and nothing else open. I got two classic beef and cheddars and a small fry for $6.50 from the value menu. The meat to bun ratio was actually decent and it filled me up for 6 hours of driving. Now I check their app for coupons every week. Has anyone else had a fast food place totally change their mind after a bad first impression?

$6.50 for two sandwiches and a fry? That's cheaper than my pre-workout anxiety meds, and probably more effective honestly. I had a similar thing with Taco Bell, kept thinking it was just gut-bomb mystery meat until I got trapped at a rest stop at like 2am with zero other options. Crunchwrap Supreme and a Baja Blast later and I was questioning my entire life choices up to that point. Now I'm a walking Taco Bell ad and my friends make fun of me for it, but hey, when you're broke and hungry, the bell calls.

Tbh I read somewhere that Arby's roast beef is actually real meat sliced thin. Changed my whole view.
