Said $1.50 gas station taquitos were a scam, then I tried the ones at the Shell on 5th
Grabbed two after my card got declined at the good spot and they were crispy, not soggy, for a buck fifty each. Now I need to know which other random gas stations in town are secretly good.

Crispy not soggy is the whole game right there, that's how you know the roller grill has actually been cleaned and rotated lol. The ones at the Circle K off the highway are hit or miss but the 7 eleven near the college stays busy enough that nothing sits long, so theyre usually fresh. Honestly the busier the station the better the food, thats the rule I go by now. Try the ones at the truck stop by the interstate too, truckers wont put up with garbage food so those spots tend to be solid.
