Rant: I swore off dollar store groceries for 2 years, then my AC died on a 104 degree day in Phoenix
My compressor blew on a Saturday in July, and the repair guy quoted me $1,800 which I did not have. So I walked to the Dollar Tree on Camelback to load up on cheap food while I saved up, and found a 5 pound bag of rice for $1.25 along with canned beans and frozen veggies that actually tasted fine. I ate for $22 that whole week and honestly it was better than the $9 burrito bowls I was buying before. Now I want to know which dollar store items are actually worth it and which ones are a total ripoff, so hit me with your best finds.
