My brother in law swore the $5 rotisserie chicken at Costco would feed his family of 4 for 2 days, and I laughed until I tried it
That $5 bird plus a $2 bag of rice and a $1 frozen veg bag gave us 5 meals last week, so now I want to know what other dirt cheap Costco items are secretly stretching that far for everyone else.

My cousin did the math on that $5 chicken and it came out to like 43 cents a serving, but she forgot to count the $60 membership and the 40 minute drive both ways. Even at five meals, you are basically paying yourself minimum wage to shred cold chicken at 9pm. Hitting three different grocery stores for loss leaders is free and gets you better meat anyway.
