I finally gave up on fast food lunch combos near my office downtown
Was spending $9.50 on a burger, fries, and drink at a chain near 5th and Main every day, then realized I could hit the grocery deli a block over for a $4.50 pre-made sandwich and a bottled water. Has anyone else ditched the combo meals for something cheaper nearby?

Used to think I was saving time with those combos and honestly just didnt want to think about lunch. But then I added up what I was spending in a month and it was like $200 just on fast food. That hurt. Switched to grabbing a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store near my work and making wraps for a few days. Now I actually look forward to my lunch break more cause the food is better and I feel less guilty about the money. You really dont realize how much those little $9.50 purchases add up until you actually stop doing it.

Wait is $200 a month that crazy though? I mean when you break it down thats like $6.60 a day for lunch which actually isnt that bad compared to a $14 sandwich from a deli lol. Rotisserie chicken wraps do sound way better for you though, probably cuts the grease and makes you feel less gross after eating.
