I blew $23 at the new chicken tender spot on 5th and it was raw in the middle
Stopped by Cluck's Corner on 5th Ave after work on Tuesday because they had a 6 piece tender combo for $11.99 and I was starving. Got home, bit into the third one, and it was pink and cold inside. Called and the guy said they'd fix it next time, no refund. That was $23 for two combos and a side of fries I could've gotten at the grocery store for like $6. Anyone else had a spot pull the no refund thing on undercooked food?

Raw chicken is a health risk, not a whoops. Pink and cold means it never hit temp, and that can put you in the ER. The guy saying he will fix it next time is not a fix, that is him keeping your money. I would call the health dept on 5th Ave and also do a chargeback with my card. $23 is real money but food poisoning costs way more. Next time ask for a refund on the spot and if they say no, walk out with the food and dispute it.
