Dollar store 'chicken' sandwiches seemed like a mistake, but I ate 5 in one week
So last Tuesday I'm at the Dollar Tree on 5th picking up sponges and I see these frozen chicken sandwiches in the little freezer case for $1.25. I figured they'd taste like cardboard and sadness. But I was starving and broke till Friday so I grabbed two. Threw one in the microwave for 90 seconds at work the next day, and honestly? It was way better than the $3 one from the gas station down the street. The breading actually got crispy if you wrap it in a paper towel. I went back Thursday and bought five more. My girlfriend said I was nuts until she tried one. For $1.25 you get 18 grams of protein and it actually fills you up. Has anyone else tried these or found a different frozen thing at Dollar Tree that doesn't suck?
