Warning: Tried a new boning knife for a week and switched right back to my old Victorinox
The handle on the new one just felt wrong, kept slipping during a big beef breakdown. Anyone else have a knife they just can't replace?

My buddy bought this fancy new drill, said it was a total game changer. Honestly, he used it once and went right back to his old beat up one that just feels right. Tbh I think he just likes the weight of it.

Ever notice how we spend so much time looking for an upgrade, only to find the old thing just works better? It's like my favorite spatula, all beat up but nothing new feels right in my hand. That trust you build with a tool is hard to beat. Makes you wonder if we're just trained to always want the next new thing, even when it's worse. What's your oldest tool that you still reach for first?
