Spent $300 on a vacuum sealer and I think it was a waste for most home butchers

Waste of a vacuum sealer" is totally how I feel too, mine's just gathering dust in the garage.

Right? It's funny how they seem like such a great idea but then you realize how much stuff you actually don't need to seal up. @sagelane I'm with you, mine's been sitting there so long I bet the rubber seal is already dried out. I think half the battle is just remembering you own the thing.
