Remember when we all bought those fancy digital portion scales?
I dropped about $150 on one of those touchscreen models a few years back, thinking it would speed things up. It lasted maybe six months before the display went out, right in the middle of a big holiday order. Had to scramble with my old manual scale. Anyone else have a good, simple scale they swear by now?

Honestly my buddy had the same thing happen with his fancy scale. He went back to a basic dial model with the big numbers, says it's never let him down. Tbh I think the simple stuff just works better sometimes.

Yeah, I feel that. I'm the guy who still can't figure out the smart coffee maker (I just want it to brew, you know?).

Remember my old car had this voice control thing for the radio, total nightmare. I'd just yell "volume up" and it would call my mom, lmao. Makes me think of you with the coffee maker, pat_perry, just wanting a simple brew. Sometimes you just need a button that does the one thing. I sold that car and got an older model with actual knobs, best choice ever. All that extra tech just gets in the way when you're half awake.
