Almost lost a whole shoulder to a dull boning knife last Saturday

I was breaking down a pork shoulder at the shop and my knife kept slipping off the silverskin, caught my thumb pretty good. I bled like crazy into the meat but luckily caught it before any got sold... anyone else had a close call with a dull blade that could've cost you product?

Disagree entirely. A sharp knife's way more dangerous cause you don't feel the cut coming.

That's a terrible take. Dull knives are sketchy as hell.
