Warning: Our game night almost ended a 15-year friendship over a rules dispute in Catan

It started with a sheep trade and escalated to yelling about the robber placement for 45 minutes straight. Has anyone else had a simple game turn into a relationship stress test?

Winning IS part of the fun for me though. Trying your hardest and seeing that effort pay off feels amazing. Like when my soccer team finally nailed a play we practiced for weeks, the win was the celebration of our work. It's not about being mean to others, it's about the shared goal and the high five when you get there.
