Trying to sort my game collection by player count took me 3 hours

I had to check the boxes for 50 games, and half of them only list a range like '2-5' without a recommended count. How do you guys organize your shelves?

Sorting by player count sounds like making a simple problem way too hard. Why not just put them in alphabetical order and call it a day? All that time spent checking boxes could have been spent actually playing a game. The range on the box is there for a reason, so just trust it. Who even decides what the "best" player count is anyway, that's totally personal. Seems like a system that causes more trouble than it's worth.

My friend bought a game for four players, we tried it with two and it was a total drag. The box lied, man.
