Took 90 minutes to explain the rules of a simple card game to my cousins
Pulled out a straightforward trick taking game at Thanksgiving and spent an hour and a half going over the same three rules. One cousin kept asking if the trump suit changes when we already covered that. Another wanted to know why the cards have different back designs when it's just the art. I almost gave up and put on a movie instead. Has anyone else had a game night turn into a rules workshop that just won't end?

Wait actually the different card backs thing could be a legit issue if they're marked decks, but for a plain casual game with just art differences it's totally fine. Most people just need to hear the trump rule said one more time and it clicks.
