Swapped my old storage method for binder clip trays and it's way better
I used to keep all my board game cards in those cheap plastic deck boxes. They always got crushed or mixed up. Last week I switched to using binder clip trays from an office supply store for my Dominion set. Now I can grab a pile without hunting through a mess. Anyone else find a weird hack that changed how they organize their games?

Wait, aren't those binder clip trays the ones meant for desk papers? I never thought to use them for cards, that's a solid idea. I've been using tackle boxes for my small games and it works way better than I expected. Stops everything from sliding around and getting bent. Might have to steal your binder clip trick.

The binder clip trays actually solve a problem I didn't even know I had with my Game of Thrones card game. Since you can flip through them sideways without taking the whole tray out, I keep a reference sheet tucked between two piles for quick rules lookups during play. Never seen anyone do that before. Also handy for separating out your starting hand cards from the market cards in games like Star Realms. Just something about being able to fan them out like a mini filing cabinet that makes setup faster.
