Spent 6 months organizing game bits by type until a friend pointed out my flaw

I was sorting all my board game tokens into little containers - you know, all the coins together, all the wooden cubes together, all the cardboard chits together. Made sense to me. Then a buddy comes over and wants to play Dinosaur Island. He spends 20 minutes just digging through my "resource" bin for the right colored dino meeples. He goes, "Why don't you just keep each game's bits in its own bag?" Total forehead slap moment. Now I use one ziploc per game and setup takes like 3 minutes. Has anyone else over-organized to the point of making games harder to play?
