Spent 4 hours trying to shuffle my Dominion cards efficiently and still ended up with clumps
Last Friday I sat down to play Dominion with two friends and realized my base set cards were completely unsorted from years of tossing them back in the box. I thought I'd just quickly separate the copper, silver, and gold piles before we started. Four hours later I'd alphabetized every kingdom card, color coded the victory points, and still had to deal with two stacks where the cards were sticking together from some old soda spill I forgot about. It was supposed to be a 15 minute cleanup before game night, not half the evening. Has anyone else hit a wall with card organization that snowballed way past what you expected?

Did you try sorting in a dark room by feel?

Sorting by feel in the dark sounds like it could work for some things, but it might not be great if you're dealing with small details like matching pieces. Your fingers can only tell so much, especially if the pieces are worn or have similar textures. You'd probably have better luck with good lighting and maybe a magnifying glass for the tricky bits.
