Shoutout to the guy who brought a 3D printer to our local game night

For years I thought custom organizers were a huge waste of time, but after seeing his perfectly fitted trays for Eclipse that cut setup from 20 minutes to maybe 5, I'm totally convinced. What's the best resource you've found for learning to design your own inserts?

My first attempt at a deck box for Magic cards had walls so thin you could see through them. I tried to snap it together and the whole thing just cracked down the middle. I spent more time watching Fusion 360 tutorials than I did actually printing anything useful that week. It's a humbling experience when your "organizer" just makes a bigger mess of plastic scraps.

Fusion 360 tutorials on YouTube taught me to design my own inserts in a weekend.

Ever wonder how many of those tutorial designs actually get printed and used? @michael_baker, I bet you found some that looked good on screen but had thin walls that snap, or holes that don't fit standard hardware. The real test is going from the cool tutorial model to a part that survives being handled.
