Overheard a guy at the game store say he grades his board games by how much they make his friends argue.

He collects negotiation games like Chinatown and said the louder the table gets, the better the design, and now I'm wondering if I've been rating games on the wrong thing entirely.

Guess I've been grading my relationships wrong this whole time.

Is it just me or does it feel like we're all using the wrong rubric for a lot of stuff in life? Like we grade relationships and friendships on how long they last or how many checkboxes they hit, but never on whether they actually made us feel good. @luna_sanchez I think the real test is how you felt during it, not how it looked on paper. Most people don't realize they're grading themselves against some invisible standard they never agreed to.
