Back in March my uncle Dave handed me Wingspan at his place in Boise and swore I'd pick it up in 20 minutes since I play a lot of Catan. Two hours and three rules lookups later I'd somehow built an egg engine but lost 74 to 61, mostly because I kept forgetting the end of round goals. He still brings it up every family dinner like he won a world title. Anyone got a game that looked simple and then quietly wrecked you on the first play?
