My $60 pawn shop find collapsed mid-game tonight
Picked up a used copy of Shadows Over Camelot at a pawn shop in Tulsa for $60, seemed like a steal. We got about 45 minutes in and the whole board just bent like a taco, pieces slid everywhere and we lost track of who had which loyal knights. Turns out the box had been stored near a radiator and the cardboard was warped beyond saving. I tried flattening it with heavy books for 2 days but it snapped when I put it back on the table. Anyone else deal with buying used games that looked fine but fell apart during play, and what do you do to check for hidden damage beyond the box corners?
