Can we talk about the guy who brought a laser level to set up Catan?

Last month at our local game cafe, a player spent 15 minutes ensuring the hexes were perfectly aligned. Has anyone else seen a prep step taken to an extreme like that?

Oh man, my friend once measured the exact center of the table for the starting robber. It was a whole thing with a tape measure. Some people just need that perfect setup.

Just eyeball it and drop the robber, man. I mean, if someone pulls out a tape measure, the game hasn't even started and it's already taking forever. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather spend that time actually playing. A little off-center never hurt anybody, it's all random anyway.
