Why does nobody talk about how pushy some adoption agencies get at birth mom support groups?

I went to a free support group in Austin last month and three different agencies were there handing out pamphlets and pushing their services. One lady literally followed me to my car. Has anyone else had this happen?

Oh man, this is just like how every bank suddenly has a "financial wellness checkup" that's really just them trying to sell you a credit card or a loan. Or those free health screenings at the grocery store where they try to sign you up for a Medicare plan you didn't ask about. It's like people can't just offer something helpful without it turning into a sales pitch anymore, especially when you're already in a vulnerable spot like a support group. The lady following you to the car is next level though, that's just straight up predatory behavior dressed up as caring.
