Started a new show last Tuesday and it took me 3 hours just to pick one
I sat down to finally start a new binge show and scrolling through Netflix took so long I almost gave up. Ended up burning through the first 4 episodes of a random docuseries before I even realized what I picked. Has anyone else spent more time choosing a show than actually watching it?

Not really. I just hit play on the first thing that looks okay and go.

All that random skipping usually ends with me watching a movie that's got some actor I've never heard of and a plot that makes zero sense after the first ten minutes. The algorithm's idea of "you might like" is a total crapshoot, sometimes it just throws up some foreign film with no subtitles option. At least with a little browsing you can spot a trainwreck before you waste an hour on it.
