Rant: spent 3 hours trying to find one show my wife and I both liked

We sat on the couch for 3 hours scrolling through Netflix and Hulu last Saturday night and still ended up rewatching old episodes of The Office. Every show I pitched she shot down in the first 30 seconds, and everything she picked I'd already seen. How do you two pick something to binge without turning it into a whole argument?

We just started taking turns picking, no vetoes allowed, and that fixed it for us.
