Pro tip: Wait past the pilot before deciding on a show

I thought comedy dramas were not for me until I tried 'Schitt's Creek'. Giving it three episodes changed my whole opinion. What show won you over after a slow start?

Breaking Bad had a really rough first season for me. The characters grew so much by season two that I got totally hooked. Went from almost quitting to binging the whole thing, it completely changed my mind.

Character growth in shows like Breaking Bad needs that slow start to feel real. Without seeing Walter's boring life first, his later choices wouldn't hit as hard. Sticking with early episodes makes the whole show better.
