My coworker said I was wasting time watching shows with 8+ seasons, but she was dead wrong
Honestly, my coworker Jen told me last month that I should only watch limited series because shows with too many seasons always drag. She was like, 'Just pick something with 3 seasons max or you'll regret it.' But I decided to start The Office from season 1 anyway, and after 9 seasons and 201 episodes later, I finished it last week. Tbh, the middle seasons were a bit slow, but the payoff in the final season was totally worth it for me. Has anyone else had someone try to talk them out of a long show that ended up being great?

Hold on, I gotta push back a little. In my experience, shows that long almost always have a couple of seasons where the writers clearly ran out of ideas and were just milking it. Your mileage may vary, but I've started too many 8+ season shows only to abandon them halfway through because the quality tanked. It's usually safer to stick with something that knows when to end.
