Just realized I've been skipping the best parts of Harlan Coben shows for 2 years

I started The Stranger on Netflix last Tuesday night at 9pm thinking it'd be a quick two episode thing, but the twist at episode 4 made me rewind like 3 times because I missed a tiny detail from episode 1. It took me 5 hours to get through what should've been a 45 minute sit down because I kept pausing to google character names. Has anyone else spent way too long on one of his shows just to catch every little clue, or is it just me?
